Funzione con frazione algebrica
\(\displaystyle y= { {x-3} \over { \left( x-2 \right) ^3 }} \)
Poichè compare un denominatore: \(\left( x -2 \right) ^3 \neq 0\)
Da cui: \(x \neq 2\)
Dominio: \(\left( - \infty ; 2 \right) \cup \left( 2 ; + \infty \right)\)
\(f(-x) = { { -x-3} \over { \left( -x-2 \right) ^3 }} \neq f(x)\) perciò non è pari
\(-f(-x) = - { { -x-3} \over { \left( -x-2 \right) ^3 }} \neq f(x)\) perciò non è dispari
Intersezioni con l'asse x (zeri):
\( \left\{ \begin{array}{l} y = 0 \\ y= { {x-3} \over { \left( x-2 \right) ^3 }} \end{array} \right. \)
Da cui
\({ {x-3} \over { \left( x-2 \right) ^3 }} = 0\)
\(x = 3\)
Intersezioni asse x: \(( 3 ; 0 )\)
Intersezioni con l'asse y:
\( \left\{ \begin{array}{l} x = 0 \\ y= { {x-3} \over { \left( x-2 \right) ^3 }} \end{array} \right. \)
Da cui
\(y(0)= { {0-3} \over { \left( 0-2 \right) ^3 }} = { 3 \over 8 }\)
Intersezioni asse y: \(( 0 ; { 3 \over 8 } )\)
\(y \gt 0\) quindi \({ {x-3} \over { \left( x-2 \right) ^3 }} \gt 0\)
Si studiano separatamente numeratore e denominatore:
\(x-3 \gt 0 \Rightarrow x \gt 3\)
\(\left( x-2 \right) ^3 \gt 0 \Rightarrow x \gt 2\)

\(x \le 2 \lor x \ge 3\)
\[ \lim_{ x \to - \infty} { {x-3} \over { \left( x-2 \right) ^3 }} = \left[ \infty \over \infty \right] = \lim_{ x \to - \infty} { {x \left( 1 - {3 \over x} \right) } \over { x^3 \left( 1 - {8 \over x^3 } - {6 \over x } + {12 \over x^2} \right) }} = 0^+\]
Asintoto orizzontale di equazione \(y = 0\)
\[ \lim_{ x \to 2^- } { {x-3} \over { \left( x-2 \right) ^3 }} = + \infty\]
Asintoto verticale di equazione \(x = 2\)
\[ \lim_{ x \to 2^+ } { {x-3} \over { \left( x-2 \right) ^3 }} = - \infty\]
Asintoto verticale di equazione \(x = 2\)
\[ \lim_{ x \to + \infty} { {x-3} \over { \left( x-2 \right) ^3 }} = \left[ \infty \over \infty \right] = \lim_{ x \to + \infty} { {x \left( 1 - {3 \over x} \right) } \over { x^3 \left( 1 - {8 \over x^3 } - {6 \over x } + {12 \over x^2} \right) }} = 0^+\]
Asintoto orizzontale di equazione \(y = 0\)
\( y'= { {-2x + 7} \over { \left( x - 2 \right) ^ 4 } } \)
\( \left\{ \begin{array}{l} y' = 0 \\ y'= { {-2x + 7} \over { \left( x - 2 \right) ^ 4 } } \end{array} \right. \)
Da cui
\({ {-2x + 7} \over { \left( x - 2 \right) ^ 4 } } = 0\)
\(-2x + 7 = 0\)
Zeri in \(x= {7 \over 2}\)
\(y' \gt 0\) quindi \({ {-2x + 7} \over { \left( x - 2 \right) ^ 4 } } \gt 0\)
Bisogna studiare separatamente numeratore e denominatore e combinare insieme i segni:
\({ -2x + 7} \gt 0\) \(\Rightarrow x \lt {7 \over 2}\)
\(\left( x - 2 \right) ^ 4 \gt 0\) \(\Rightarrow \forall x \neq 2\)
2 7/2

Quindi in \(x= {7 \over 2}\) c'è un massimo.
\( y''= { {6x - 32} \over { \left( x-2 \right)^5 } } \)
\( \left\{ \begin{array}{l} y'' = 0 \\ y''= { {6x - 32} \over { \left( x-2 \right)^5 } } \end{array} \right. \)
Da cui
\({ {6x - 32} \over { \left( x-2 \right)^5 } } = 0\)
\({6x - 32} = 0\) \(\Rightarrow x = { 16 \over 3}\)
Per \(x = { 16 \over 3 }\) si ha inversione di concavità
\(y'' \gt 0\) quindi \({ {6x - 32} \over { \left( x-2 \right)^5 } } \gt 0\)
Bisogna studiare il segno dei termini separatamente e combinarli insieme:
\(6x - 32 \gt 0\) \(\Rightarrow x \gt {16 \over 3}\)
\(\left( x-2 \right)^5 \gt 0\) \(\Rightarrow x \gt 2\)
2 16/3
